How to participate

The Helsinki Innovation Districts project offers a test platform for the development and testing of new, sustainable solutions and operating models in collaboration with an innovation ecosystem. This innovation ecosystem offers the best possible preconditions for developing new solutions, facilitating close interaction with different operators.

We engage in collaboration with different City divisions, companies and research and innovation operators to gain ideas and insight from as many perspectives as possible. Citizens also play a crucial role as co-creators, experts on their everyday lives and testers of services.

Whether you are an innovator, developer, expert, company or resident, you can join the Forum Virium Helsinki’s mailing list to be among the first to know about the latest projects, pilots and events. We will also be sharing information on social media, so be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook.

The future is built on experimentation. The team behind Forum Virium Helsinki highly encourages everyone to propose pilot projects for testing.  If you cannot find a programme that is right for you, you can also register your pilot proposal on the Helsinki Testbed website.
